The Best Sunless Tanner | Rodan + Fields

Hello, hello. Summer is right around the corner! The weather here in Denver has been bipolar, so I'm still super pale (my legs and feet especially)! In the past I've always gone to a tanning bed, but I know they're really bad for you, not to mention expensive, so I've been on the market for a sunless tanner! I've only tried one other brand in the past, and it did not end well. The smell was awful, it looked really streaky and the color was just weird.

When my friend Kristin reached out to me about the Rodan + Fields Sunless Tan, I thought I'd give it a go. I figured it couldn't hurt to try again considering I have zero time to go to the tanning bed before vacation!

I've also heard a lot of great things about the brand lately and have been curious to how well their products actually work! She recommended getting both the Micro-Dermabrasion Paste and the Foaming Sunless Tan

The paste helps exfoliate your skin, getting rid of any dead skin cells before hand. This helps the tanning foam go on more smoothly so you don't end up with blotches of dark spots! It's a thick, gritty feeling paste, much like you would expect from an exfoliant. I applied it while I was in the shower so I wouldn't make it mess everywhere, but it was actually less messy than I expected!

You can also use this on your face - it's works really well!

Now time to get tan! After I got out of the shower, I applied the Sunless Tanner. It's a clear foam when it comes out of the bottle which I was surprised by! It doesn't have the typical tanning lotion smell - it actually hardly had a smell at all!

I decided to try just my legs first instead of doing my whole body at once. It was really easy to apply - I just rubbed it on just like you would do with regular lotion. Try to start with your legs first and save your ankles, knees and feet until you have less product on your hands. Since those are areas where skin is usually drier, you don't want to put too much tanner on or it'll get really dark.

The really nice thing about this product is that you can continue on with your day after that! I waited until that night to wash it off (around 4 hours), but you can start noticing a difference after just 1 hour!  The color came out great - I think it looks super natural and doesn't have an orange tint to it. As you can tell from the pictures below, this stuff definitely works!!

(P.S. Excuse my toes, I needed a pedicure really bad haha!)

You can buy the Sunless Tanner and Micro-Dermabrasion Paste by clicking the links above! If ya'll have any questions, I highly recommend Kristin Waybright! She's super knowledgeable and can answer any questions you might have. I was kind of a newbie when it comes to tanning products, so she was really great about explaining the benefit of using these products together! You can email her at if you're curious about trying any of the Rodan + Fields products.

Here are a list of some of their top selling products! Next on my list is try the Moisture Replenishment Cream.

(This is next on my list to try!)

What other products are ya'll excited to try?

This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.
