I'm so excited to do this giveaway! Mostly because they are a pair of Krass & Co. shorts which are literally A-MAZ-ING. I just got the navy ones with the embroidered lobsters, and they are the most comfortable things ever! I wear norts (nike shorts) all the time, and these def my new favorite. They are more of a stretchy spandex material, so they are a lot more soft and comfy than most of my other ones are. And they come in so many different cute prints, and they have a pair that look like Lilly. I just want them all!!

Luckily for ya'll, we are giving away a free pair to one lucky winner!

Make Room In Your Closet :BOWS

So in case my blog doesn't already give it away, I kind of really like bows.. like a lot. Basically if I see something in a store that has a bow on it, there's a 99% that I'm going to buy it. Everything is better with a bow on it, right?

I just bought the first three bow shirts.. opps. Which thing is your favorite?

Lilly Pulitzer

I was browsing through Instagram and saw this pic from Lilly Pulitzer. I'm totally in love. Painting is something I love to do, and I especially love painting Lilly prints (especially first impressions)! I found this awesome video on some of the print designers painting patterns.  I get a lot of people that ask me how I paint the patterns, but I unfortunately couldn't do a good step by step tutorial. It's a lot of globbing paint and just going for it kind of like they show on the video!

What's your favorite Lilly pattern to paint?

Living the Greek Life

Hello! I made this cute new graphic to use on all my posts that have to do with greek life (which I promise I'll start writing more often!). I always used to try to find ideas on socials/philanthropy/bid day stuff, I find myself searching through discussion boards and not really finding what I need! So I'm here to save the day.

Before I start, I figured you should know a little about me. You know that phrase, "Stop me before I volunteer again?" That would basically describe me. I've been in my sorority for 3 years now, and I've literally held about 10+ different positions including banner chair, webmaster, recruitment positions, new member positions, and Vice President of Programs (which oversaw all the officers and  all activities within the chapter). And I am now currently serving as Vice President of Public Relations for our Panhellenic Council, so I have a pretty thorough knowledge of every aspect of Sorority life.

I'm so excited to start sharing ideas, ways to improve your chapter, and quality advice on things that is pretty hard to find anywhere else! I look forward to hearing what YOU want to know! You can always leave me a comment here or email me at

Make Room in Your Closet | 3 Sales You Don't Want to Miss

I'm literally obsessed with sales. I sign up for email subscriptions for all my favorite stores, and then wait until my favorite stuff goes on sale! I get tired of paying full price for something, and then see it go on sale a few weeks later!

Tory Burch | For all you Tory fans out there, they are doing a 30% off sale - which is really good considering their stuff is rarely marked down much, even at the outlets!

J. Crew & J. Crew Factory | I'm pretty sure half of my wardrobe is from J.Crew. I prefer to shop at the factory store, just because they usually have the exact same basics for way, way cheaper - plus I live right next to an outlet mall, so it's actually much closer than the regular store!

Right now, J. Crew factory has an extra 30% off of everything! Don't forget to show them your student ID for an extra 15% off in stores!

Lilly Pulitzer | A lot of Lilly's spring collection is going on sale! You won't find it on the Lilly Pulitzer website though - they only have 2 sales a year. The trick is to visit the Lilly Pulitzer Via Shops. My favorite is The Pink Pelican. Right now they have a bunch of stuff on sale, including an additional 20% the already marked down sale items.

It's a private sale, so click here to view all the items that are 40% off and here to view the 20% off items. It doesn't reflect the sale price on the website, so you'll need to whip out your calculator to figure out how much it is, but they adjust the price before they charge your card! There's an additional 20% off the sale price.

That means the $188 dress I've been lusting over is only $90. I love sales.

If anyone knows of any other great sales going on right now, please share!

How to Paint the Best Paddle Ever

Paddle painting is one of my favorite things to do! We had our paddle pass yesterday, and it was so fun to see what everyone's looked like! I ended up painting several for people in my chapter - it's fun to get paid to do something you love doing! Here's a short how to guide and pictures  of the ones I painted this semester.

How to Paint the Best Paddle Ever

1. Buy a paddle - There are all types of different sizes and shapes. It's best to pick one that isn't super narrow so that you have space to work with.

2. Paint your base coats - I usually start off by putting several layers of just acrylic paint down so that none of the wood grain shows through, but you can also use spray primer.

3. Decide on your background - I see a lot of really cute paddles, but when the background is too busy, the names don't show up or it just looks too cluttered. My favorite thing to do is to do a cute prints inside the letters with a solid color background (I'll usually paint the edges a different color), or simple patterns like stripes, quatrefoil or chevron.

4. Do your letters - I usually just free hand them but they are basically just cute block letters! I love doing Lilly prints on the inside, because let's get real, what sorority girl doesn't love Lilly? It's fun to pick different prints that match the girls personality! Once you finish painting your letters, outline them in paint pen - it really makes it look finished!

5. Add the name - I usually do names with just a paint pen in black or white. You want them to be able to show up. I also like writing their pledge class and the school name so when your fabulous creation ends up on pinterest, people know what school to be jealous of ;).

Viola! Your masterpiece is complete!

I can't believe spring break is officially less than a month away! You know what that means. Time to stock up on cute swimsuits, koozies and monogrammed towels.

Swimsuits are an essential part of most your summer wardrobe and spring break is the time to show it off and look super cute doing so.

I used to always buy swimsuits as a set. Unless last year, I thought it was like so weird when people wore mismatched tops and bottoms. Now I almost never wear matching top and bottoms. It's a great way to change things up and get to wear some from previous years without feeling like that was so 2010. Plus, it's so much cheaper. When stores put swimsuits on sale, it's impossible to find matching pieces that are actually your size. If you are new to the mismatched swimsuit thing, I would suggest getting white bottoms or a white top first. White will pretty much match everything!

Purple Ruffle Top | If you're super girly and love ruffles, this one's for you.  It's from JCrew, and comes in several other colors.

Mint Flower Bikini  |  I'm super obsessed with this swimsuit from River Island. It's a store from the UK, but they ship to the US! Their site has a top of stuff. I'm sure you've seen some of it floating around Pinterest!

Polka Dot Bow Bandeau  | I am so in love with this. I found this on Etsy while I was online shopping the other day. I. Want. It. Soo. Bad. They also have a navy star top with red striped bottoms. I don't know how the bottoms would fit, but the top is so cute.

Push Up Bandeau Top  |  I actually just bought this top from Victoria's Secret! I LOVE the way that it fits. I have big boobs so most bandeau tops without underwire just aren't flattering, but this one has underwire and a little bit of push up. Plus it comes in like 25 different colors!

Pink Ruffle Top | This one's also from JCrew. I love the color and it has ruffles - so girly and cute!

Tie Front Triangle Top  |  Another one of my favorites from VS! The halter style top definitely gives you a good lift, plus it has a bit of push up on the sides. Anddd.. it has a bow. What's not to love? I have this in coral from last year and it's awesome! I love the idea of pairing it with the yellow striped bottoms!

Navy Polka-Dot Push Up  |  If you need something with a little extra left, this is perfect! This one's from Target, and I love the the vintage-y style of it!

Tory Burch Triangle Top | If you're looking to be the envy of the beach, this one's for you. This bright red-orange top from Tory Burch will definitely stand out.  Yes, it's kind of a splurge for a swimsuit, but if you're tory obsessed like this girl, it's well worth it.

Ruched Bottoms | These ruched bottoms from Victoria's Secret are a great basic bottom!

Yellow Stripe String Bottoms | These are so summery and nautical! I love the string bottoms so you can adjust them to fit you better! They also come in a bunch of solid prints. You can never go wrong with bottoms from Victoria's Secret!

Mint Flower Bottoms | These bottoms match the top from above if you do like to match, but I also think they'd go great with another pastel color top!

Ruffle Bottoms | The are precious. These bottoms are also from JCrew! I want these to go with my Push up Bandeau Top!

What are some of ya'lls favorite swimsuits this year?
